SLN/CR in action!
In September 2023 we performed a field test at a local park in Kansas City. We hired an independent sound engineer to provide us objective recordings of the court sounds during play. Readings were taken at various distances. The results below were taken from 5' away from the court.
The sound wave form image before SLN/CR is applied
Take a look at this picture. You see the high and low points in this graph? This is a visual image of the pickleball noise waves travelling into the microphone. You see the thickness of the line in the center? That is an indication of sound intensity. This image is the sound wave before SLN/CR goes to work dissipating sound.
The sound wave form image
after SLN/CR is applied
Notice in this picture how the center line looks less dense and that there are significantly less high peaks and valleys in the wave form visualization? A visual representation of how SLN/CR both absorbs and dissipates sound.
Free-field test to detect sound absorbtion at various ranges using multiple microphones
In September 2023 we performed a full scale field test at a 6 court facility in Kansas City. The goal of the study was to measure how our product absorbed sound at 5, 10, 20 and 200 foot ranges.
